Juliet Yarn Clutch – Navy + Brown

Well this design came out of the blue. It is an amalgamation of 3 different bags/patterns I’ve made in the past.

I was working on new colour combinations of my Boxy Tote Project bag. There was a piece of pebbled silver leather that I didn’t end up using so I got to thinking how I could use it. I paired it up with an oval piece of leather for the base, some sturdy leather with magnetic snaps for the top. Internal slots to store your notion organizer, a pocket on the outside and a wristlet strap.

The finished shape, size and feel of the bag are absolutely lovely. It has a stunning polished aesthetic.

To give you an idea of the size of the bag, you can stuff it full with 4 cakes of yarn, but this height of bag won’t close. To have it close, 2 cakes of yarn in the bottom with a generous amount of room for your project on top.

This specific bag I sewed the inside pocket a little too far over to the right. You can see in the fifth photo. On the left is what it should have looked like, equally between the two sew lines and the bag you will receive has the right inside pocket. This does not affect the function and neither do you see it from the outside. I decided to give a discount for aesthetic looks.
