I have made a few variations of a notion pouch but never one quite like this one. I’ve always wanted to offer one that included a pair of scissors or snippers, a needle and some stitch markers. So this is an amalgamation of all my designs over the years and I love it.
To open the organizer, unsnap the flap and lay it open. You’ll find an inside pocket to store stitch markers and other small items, a felted wool area to push your needles through (blunt thicker needles may need a pointy needle to make the holes a few times at first), a pair of mini black stainless steel scissors held in place by a snap on a leather ruler that I made. The markings are in 1/4″, 1/2″ and 1″ and were added using an acrylic stamp.
To put it away, fold the pocket end up to the side of the ruler and then bring the flap over. Close it up using the antique snap.
This version is made with a Coral leather for the outside and Bubblegum Pink for the inside pocket. It features contrasting blue stitching.
The notion organizers come with a pair of black scissors, however I have a small number of Rainbow or Rose Gold scissors. If you would like a different pair, please enter Rainbow or Rose Gold scissors in the notes section during checkout.
