Round Leather Yarn Bowl Pouch – Special Edition Metallic Pink

To say I love my leather yarn bowls is an understatement. They are fantastic and they’re loved by so many. I decided to make some special edition versions.

The pouch version of my leather yarn bowl came about when I bought the hot pink leather but realised after making one that it was too thick to fold over. I decided to try out adding a magnetic snap at the top and the leather yarn bowl pouch was born. A happy accident you may say. Needless to say I’ll be making more of these in other colour’s of leather. This version comes in all metallic pink leather with a coordinating hot pink yarn guide snap tag.

This yarn bowl pouch includes a super simple snap keyring in the same hot pink as the yarn tag. If you would like a different colour please leave a message in the comments during checkout.

I designed these as an alternative to the heavy and breakable ceramic and wood yarn bowls. These are light, flexible, crushable but yet pop out and hold their shape. 

Some details:

• 5 1/4“ diameter x 6“ tall
• Typical characteristics found in natural leather, including and not limited to: scrapes and healed scars, fat wrinkles, skin blemishes and bug bites, colour and grain variation

#1 – Discounted as the metallic leather on the side near the base has some scratches which expose the white underneath. There is no hole that goes right through the leather, it is merely a surface cosmetic problem. Full disclosure there is a number 18 on the inside of the base of the pouch. The leather producer marked an 18 to indicate that the size of the piece of leather is 18 square feet. It is also cosmetic and will not be seen if you have yarn inside. Just wanted to let you know.
