I've been working on leveling up my displays. My two tables have always been plywood, but I felt that they needed a more finessed look.

At the beginning of the year we upgraded our kitchen shelves and installed cabinets instead. These solid wood shelves have been sitting in our basement waiting to be used again. They ended up being perfect to create a folding table with removable legs.

One down, second to go.

I've been busy behind the scenes cutting out leather for my September markets.

I made this mini version of the Juliet Yarn Clutch earlier this year to take some crocheting on the cruise I went on in February. I had the best intentions, but it's only just today that I started, 2 months, to start these dish cloths. Oh well, better late than never.

I'm unsure whether I'll make more of this exact version as the parts are a little finicky to make as a smaller version. However I think I may make the larger Colour Block Yarn Bowls with an oval base instead of the current round base.

Sometimes I get lucky in my design process and my patterns come together easily. Then other times the process develops slower with variations along the way.

Tomorrow I'm heading out to buy some fun new leather. It can be both stressful and exciting all at the same time. Wish me luck!

Coming to @fibreshindig on Sunday. I've had so many people over the years suggest this product but I never did anything about it.

Morale of the story is, ask me enough times for an item and I'll finally get my ducks in a row, order the parts and make it.

These are so useful for folks who want to keep your yarn organized but don't want to commit to one bag. Now you don't have to, snap this handy organizer on and move as you need.

The organizer is made using soft leather, five metal grommets and a snap to attach to a handle or loop.

This is a small colour selection to test out the demand for these useful little items. Which is your favourite colour?

I have decided to retire the Colourwork Clutch design and therefore the six I have left are on sale for $95. They come with a permanent wrist strap. If you'd like the wrist strap to be removable, add the $5 option right in the listing to your order.

These clutches are great for smaller projects like toques, socks, small scarves etc. The snaps on the top make it a great option for those that utilize two skeins to do colourwork in their projects.

Every year I make cupcakes to celebrate my daughter who was born still at 23 weeks. She would have been 12 years old today. I took so many photographs to perfectly capture the scene, but I realised I could only perfectly experience it.
